Age-defying Christie: Christie Brinkley has been signed to write a book that will offer "a holistic look at diet, fitness, vitality and style," says publisher Grand Central Life & Style. The as-yet untitled book and accompanying audio edition are tentatively due in fall 2015. In a statement, Brinkley, 60, said: "After more than 40 years in the beauty industry I have learned tips, secrets and shortcuts that have kept me working and feeling great and I am excited to share with other women so that every woman can feel beautiful, vibrant, and relevant at every age!"

Mod 'Mockingbird': To Kill a Mockingbird will be available as an e-book, HarperCollins announced on Monday, author Harper Lee's 88th birthday. "I'm still old-fashioned. I love dusty old books and libraries," Lee said in a statement. "I am amazed and humbled that Mockingbird has survived this long. This is Mockingbird for a new generation." The e-book and a digital audio version narrated by Sissy Spacek will be released on July 8.

'Girl' power: I chatted with a glowing Gillian Flynn (she's expecting a baby in July) about her phenomenal best-selling thriller Gone Girl, newly out in paperback. She wrote the screenplay for the movie version directed by David Fincher, due Oct. 3, and starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike as Nick and Amy Dunne. Check out the video and story.

New and noteworthy: USA TODAY scopes out notable books on sale this week, including by Let's Just Say It Wasn't Pretty, a book on aging and beauty by Diane Keaton, and Natchez Burning, a thriller by Greg Iles.

New USA TODAY reviews: Rock journalist Lisa Robinson has had a backstage pass to the greatest acts in rock history, and now she's written a memoir, There Goes Gravity. USA TODAY's Korina Lopez gives the book **** (out of 4) and calls it "delightful" and "wickedly hilarious." In Watching You, Marnie Logan has been driven frantic by the disappearance of her husband, and she has a stalker. USA TODAY's Martha T. Moore says Michael Robotham's thriller is "tastily written and cleverly designed" (***).
