USA TODAY's Jocelyn McClurg scopes out the hottest books on sale each week.

1. House of Outrageous Fortune by Michael Gross (Atria, non-fiction, on sale Tuesday)

What it's about: The author of 740 Park opens the door on another Manhattan real-estate temple, 15 Central Park West, "the world's most powerful address," where both stars and hedge-fund types have bought in.

The buzz: "Gross's depiction of ... captains of finance is full of both contempt and admiration," says Publishers Weekly.

2. The Accident by Chris Pavone (Crown, non-fiction, on sale Tuesday)

What it's about: The author of The Expats returns with a story set in the publishing world. It's about an anonymous manuscript that threatens powerful men, including a media mogul with CIA ties.

The buzz: It's an Indie Next pick of independent booksellers. "A compelling thriller for book lovers," says Hannah Johnson-Breimeier of Boswell Book Co. in Milwaukee.

3. You Must Remember Thisby Robert Wagner with Scott Eyman (Viking, non-fiction, on sale Tuesday)

What it's about: The actor, 84, reflects on a glamorous past in this book, subtitled Life and Style in Hollywood's Golden Age.

The buzz: Wagner's 2008 memoir, Pieces of My Heart, was a best seller.

4. Grin and Bear Itby Jenni Pulos (St. Martin's Press, non-fiction, on sale Tuesday)

What it's about: A humorous self-help memoir about how to be happy "no matter what reality throws your way."

The buzz: Pulos is best known as the long-suffering sidekick on Bravo's Flipping Out and Interior Therapy With Jeff Lewis.

5. Stone Coldby C.J. Box (Putnam, fiction, on sale Tuesday)

What it's about: The 14th in the Joe Pickett series finds the Wyoming game warden investigating a rich man who may have made his fortune killing people for money.

The buzz: The 13th Pickett novel, Breaking Point, reached No. 21 on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list last year.
