A Fond Farewell - A Drabble

She was reading a book. That is all she seemed to do lately. She was an avid reader. Her husband loved that about her - until the obsession. It started with a book site, then a book blog. She lived, breathed, and if she could, would eat a book. She read day and night not cooking, cleaning or helping out. Her husband warned her a few times that he was near breaking point. She kept reading. One day he said he was going for milk. She kept reading. And she has been for the five years he has been gone.
