Hot off the heels of his Oscar-nominated film The Wolf of Wall Street, Martin Scorsese’s next film will be a documentary on The New York Review of Books. While it might seem like a strange transition from coke and strippers to a doc. on the venerable New York magazine, Scorsese is probably the most natural choice for somebody to do this sort of project when you really think about it.
According to Variety, the film includes appearances from writers like James Baldwin, Michael Chabon, Joan Didion, Noam Chomsky, Norman Mailer, and Susan Sontag.
