Winging It Wedmesday

Hello my dear readers! If you remember last week I wanted to institute "Winging It Wednesday". What I came up with to do on Wednesday's was to randomly pick a blog (book blog) and either pick a new book for me to read that was reviewed, enter a contest they have, leave a nice comment for them, maybe even post this link here if they are good.

So this week I randomly choose "Coffee and Character" which was on Bloglovin'. Click here to check out this blog.

So the post I read was from Monday but the blogger posted about New Year's Resolutions. I was not going to make any this year but now I am. I do not even need that many. So I do not know if all of you did or not but maybe you can make some and make them meaningful.

My 2014 Resolutions:

1. Clean the craft room FINALLY! It has been a mess for way too long and God Forbid there was a fire. There is a lot of flammable things in that room. There are a lot of things that need to get thrown out also. It can look a lot nicer and I can craft again.

2. Cook more. Hubby likes to cook so he does most of the cooking. Yes I am lucky but I would love to cook for him. I can cook well. So even one meal a week to start with is good.

3. Walk the dog and/or play in the backyard with him more. It is easy with a little 7 pound dog because they tire easily and sleep a lot. And I play with him everyday inside but he does love being outside. He Practically lives outside in the summer. So I plan to take him for a game of toss out in the backyard or for a walk, which he loves again at least once a week then maybe we can get to everyday.

4. Get some help with my blog. I want to make my blog more visually appealing. I also want to make my blog more consistent. And yes if you click on the blogger that I visited today she said the same thing about consistency but I do need to and it was something I was mulling over. I want to make a magazine type blog. For example instead of posting 10 things a day, put them all in one post for you to look through. I think having something to do everyday is good for example my Quote, Review, List, and now I have something for Wednesday and Thursday. I will eventually do something Monday - Sunday. I am on a list to have someone help me clean up the visual on my website. I am not good with the computer so the fact that I got up what I did was amazing. In the meantime, I am going to see if I can teach myself some things. That is how the blog got set up in the first place.

5. Spend more time with my husband. We got a new computer. I got a laptop and a Galaxy S4. We are in separate rooms a lot. That needs to change. I always hated technology. We met in 1993 before all this junk. I still have my original Motorola cell phone. Not many people had them. I have blogged here once or twice about being younger and loving the days of reading outside or late at night. But my husband and I just need to do anything together and there are a lot of things to do for free.

So I think that is a lot to work on for now. As I always say, things were meant to happen for a a reason so I chose this blog randomly and I am happy that I did.
