Nominated for a Liebster Award

So I just found out some awesome news. A very sweet woman (who I know because she won one of my giveaways here) nominated me for a Liebster Award! I am tickled pink.

I was nominated by Aneta from http://angelic-reviews.blogspot.ca/. Thank you so much for the nomination Aneta. It really made my day. I love to know people are reading and enjoying my blog.

So here are my question from Aneta I thought it would be fun to answer them here.

My Questions for You:

1. How did you chose the name for your blog?
I wanted it to be about books of course but I wanted people to know I was quirky and not perfect. I had a flashback of my favorite unicorn bookends as a girl and thought that right now, with all of my housecleaning, I am missing a bookend. So I just thought of using something else and Mismatched Bookends was born!

2. What was your favorite book from 2013?
That is a tough question. From my history, and you can see on my blog blurb, I just started reading again in September. I would have to say "Erasing Shadows" by K.D. Rose. But that is really tight with two other books.

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Someplace cold! I would love to move to Canada.

4. Who is your favorite hero/heroine?
From a book? Because my husband is my hero. I honestly cannot think of someone in a book. I think you have to be a series reader to answer this.

5. Do you have any pets? If not, do you want one?
Yes I have an awesome rescue Mini Poodle named Nino. And I would love to get more but he may not like that!

6. Who is your favorite author?
Neil Gaiman

7. Favorite book boyfriend/girlfriend?
I am not sure what that means lol!

8. If you could be any mythical creature, what would you be?
Wow, good question. Honestly, I have always loved Unicorns. But part of me would want to be human. I think I would like to be a fairie.

9. Who is your role model? And why?
My mother. Because of too many reasons to list. But mostly because she does it all. She raised me on her own. She knows everything and I mean anything I ask her about, she knows. She is my best friend too. It has always been that way. People say I am just like her and that is the best compliment in the world.

10. If you could be any character from a book, who would you be? And what book are you from?
Wow, great question too! I have to look up her name but I would like to be the heroine in "Neverland" by Neil Gaiman. Because she was such a great character and had a whole secret world she lived in.

Okay that is it. Now I have to find bloggers to nominate. I guess I know what I will be doing today. And coming up with some good questions for them to answer.
