Today I had been reading a book about a romance at Christmas. I should finish it tonight and have the review up. I do not know what has happened to me, it must be the holidays, because this is the second romance book that I read and liked. I am all for romance but not overdone and not really in my books.
I also have a mystery book that is Christmas themed that I plan on reading. Hey, you should see the cover-it is awesome! But it is also close to 600 pages. I hope to finish it before Christmas. Then you can see the cover :)
My husband went to Toys R Us today to buy my nephew an early Christmas gift. I wondered off by the girly things. I love and adore my nephew so much but my husband gets to do all of the fun shopping. If my nephew were a niece, oh boy those would be fun times at the toy store!
So I found myself in the book aisle marveling at all the books for children from just learning their A, B C's to children dealing with a mean sister at school. I think most of the books were for up to age 8 or so.
And they had Christmas books.
I brought three.
I could not help it! I felt like a kid again. Seeing all my old friends on the covers.
So they are Children's books and will be short but I will review them. And may go back for more. It is a good thing it was dinner time because we also went to the big mall to get some Godiva and I passed Barnes & Noble ready with my credit card!
I love my wonderful books. All of them.
I hope you read at least one Christmas themed book or buy your child a Christmas book and read it with them.
