The A-Z Challenge - I Need Your Input!

I did a post a while back titled "The A-Z of Books"

I saw an idea of someone setting a book goal by going off of an alphabetical list. I thought it was an excellent idea. So I decided to make my own list.

I am bringing this subject up again and re-posting because I picked some new books to fill the alphabet in a little more. Also, I did the A-Z post very early when I first started this blog so maybe you have not seen it.

There are actually two lists, and I hope you can all help me out. These are going toward my book goal in 2014 of 100 books to read.

I have two lists. The first A-Z list will be books I chose myself, along with some recommendations from friends mixed in.
Because of the A book, my time frame is 10/29/13-10/29/14. I am doing my best to make them all not in one genre. So far so good.

The second A-Z list will be all suggestions from friends, authors, and maybe you! I am going totally crazy and I am going to pick books and genres that are out of my comfort zone. I would love you, the reader, to make suggestions. If I pick your book I will mention your name here on my blog. I may even do a giveaway. So be on the lookout. I will announce it well ahead of time. Again I am going to be looking for different genres, ie - My list will not be say all horror books (that is a different challenge!).

I am just printing the first list up with what I have on it now so you get the idea of what I am doing.

If anyone wants to read or has read any of these books I would love to have you comment. And maybe we can start a discussion. Depending on the book.

So that is my list so far. I am about 100 pages into my A book and it is very, very good. I had to lay it aside for some R4Rs and beta reads and some other issues that arose with my blog and interviews, etc. But if I could I would sit and read until it was done. It is that good. I suggest you pick up a copy.

I hope you will help me out in expanding my reading circle and recommending some great books!

Remember - I have a whole other list to go. For my friend's requests I have only filled A, B, C, D, H, M, and S. So things can be changed, and there is time. I am starting this second list 1/1/14-1/1/15. I will also be reading things like the top 10 horror books as listed in my Horror Group on goodreads. So you can make a list too. I have a top 10 list, and two 26 item lists. That is 62 books. My goal for 2014 is 100 so lay it on me!
