I realized I do not have many days left to get my A-Z challenge chosen. I actually had three challenges. One was an A-Z challenge and consisted of books I have or brought or won and wanted to read, and books suggested to me by friends. I finally finished the names of the books today so I can get started. Well actually, instead of starting in 2014, the "A" book I read early so the first challenge list runs from 10/29/13-10/29/14. I read the "I" book already that is the only one finished. And, as previously stated, am reading the "A" book.
The second challenge was a list of the top 10 horror books as picked by a horror book club I belong to on goodreads.com. I have to find that list.
The third list was another A-Z Challenge and was picked only by my friends or authors I know. That list I need help with. You readers can pick a book for me to read. I did ask this about a month ago. Just click where it says "no comment" where the little pencil is and a comment box will come up. The only definite books picked for this list are A, B, C, D, H, M, and S. So if you have a favorite book, I will read it, no questions asked. This is part of the challenge. I would really like to fill up this list before January. If not I will be picking more of my own books or maybe scrap the second A-Z list and do another challenge.
As far as the first A-Z challenge, I tried my best to pick books in different genres, some which I am not crazy about but I did do my best to vary it. Or they would all be horror or Neil Gaiman books.
So this is what my picks look like, A-Z Challenge so far (I put what is is categorized by goodreads next to the book):

If you have read any of these books I would love to know. I mean a list can be changed but now again, your suggestion will go on list 2. But if you comment and tell me the book is really bad I may change it.
So wish me luck and happy reading. I would love to hear about some of your challenges for the new year.
Just a side note, I joined goodreads back in late September and when it asked me to set up a challenge, I figured - not enough time. It is the end of the year it does not make sense. But then I thought, well I read fast, maybe a goal would be nice. So I figured on one book a week, which would put me at 15 books and I added 5 on because I know I read fast. So I hit that goal in October. I upped it again to 25, then to 30. The last was 35 and now I have read 58 books. So My goal for 2014 was 100 books. Some of the books I choose are very long which is fine. And of course I LOVE short stories and those count. So I cannot wait to hit 100 books and read all of the books I chose for the A-Z list. On top of that I will be reading book tour books and if I can fit it in, some I picked for myself, or ones I won that are interesting. It should be a good year for me for reading.
