Let It Snow! We Have Plenty of New Romances To Read

(from USA Today
by Joyce Lamb)

While we were shopping and then celebrating the holidays, some really great new romances came out. Here's a sampling ...

No Turning Back by Anne Rainey. Fan-favorite author Anne Rainey brings a new twist on romance with her Man-Maid series. In book one, a financial analyst turned entrepreneur narrowly avoids a deadly accident on the opening day of his new business—a male-operated house cleaning service--and instead finds himself in the arms of a knockout blonde. Feather dusters optional, but recommended!

The ingredients for a hot summer: sun, sand and sizzling sex. Jodi Redford introduces readers to Wicked Shores in book one, where an author meets not one but two muses on her way to a hoped-for happily ever after.

Going Up by Amy Lane. Every dreary day, Zach Driscoll takes the elevator from the penthouse apartment of his father's building to his coldly charmed life where being a union lawyer instead of a corporate lawyer is an act of rebellion. Every day, that is, until the day the elevator breaks and Sean Mallory practically runs into his arms. Substitute teacher Sean Mallory is everything Zach is not—poor, happy, and goofily charming. With a disarming smile and a penchant for drama, Sean laughs his way into Zach's heart one elevator ride at a time. Zach would love to get to know Sean better, but first he needs the courage to leave his ivory tower and face a relationship that doesn't end at the "Ding!"

Where You Lead by Mary Calmes. ATF agent Peter Lomax isn't a hearts and flowers kind of guy, but he can be possessive, and it caused problems until Carver Fleming. Carver may be part of the art world, but he gets Peter, loves belonging to the man, and Peter treasures the way Carver understands them together. Carver loves Peter, but he's fully aware that six months doth not a commitment make. Carver wants to make the relationship last forever, but he'll have to leave their life in Chicago to take care of the family he loves. He wants to do it with Peter by his side, but going from the city of Chicago to tiny Colt, Kentucky is a big change. Carver has only one Christmas wish: Please, oh please, let Peter fall enough in love with Carver's family to follow Carver home.

No One to Trust by Lynette Eason. Hidden Identity book one. Summer Abernathy wakes up one morning to find her husband missing, three men in her home intent on finding him, and the life she's been living based on a lie. Which Kyle Abernathy did she marry? The computer programmer she met in line at the bank? Or the one who was apparently using that image as a cover story? The search for her husband--and answers--takes Summer ever deeper into a world of organized crime where people are used one moment and discarded the next. And with her deepest relationship of trust already shattered, Summer doesn't know who to believe.

Beguiled by Joanna Chambers.
A fleeting pleasure is the sweetest seduction… In Joanna Chambers' new gay romance, book two of the Enlightenment series, a lowborn Scottish lawyer rekindles a torrid affair with the aristocratic lord who wants more than his body—he wants his whole heart.

Someone Like You by Elaine Coffman. Susannah Dowell may be choosing the life of a spinster in order to avoid ending up in a brothel like her mother, but that doesn't mean she isn't attracted to a kind, good-looking man when she sees one. Reed Garrett meets Susannah while trying to get a job on her aunts' farm. After being hired, he learns that running from his past doesn't mean that he can't enjoy his present and future. Soon Susannah and Reed both realize that hiding and fighting who they are won't stop them from being who each other needs.

Freedom in the Smokies by Becca Jameson In book three of the wildly popular Durham Wolves series, a horse trainer arrives at the Durham ranch only to find more than her dream job waiting for her—she finds her mate. But trouble has followed her into her new romance, and now the entire Durham family is at risk from an old, familiar enemy.

Vengeance by Denise Tompkins. In book three of the Niteclif Evolutions series, Denise Tompkins returns with a story of shapeshifters battling demons in the ultimate test of love. Where the only way to save the men she loves is to sacrifice herself.
