One More Page Books, an independent, neighborhood-oriented bookstore, partners with Arlington Central Library, Arlington Public Schools, George Mason University’s Fall for the Book, Fairfax County Schools and Fairfax County Public Library to launch NoVa Teen Book Festival, an exciting all-day young adult literary festival held on Saturday, March 8th. This event is open to all and admission is free.

“We’re thrilled to be part of NoVa Teen,” says One More Page owner Eileen McGervey. “Not only is the festival an amazing opportunity for teens to meet so many authors in one place, but it’s also a wonderful way for them to gather with peers and share their love for books.”

More than 20 authors will take part in the NoVa Teen Book Festival which opens at 9:30 am at Washington-Lee High School, located at 1301 N. Stafford Street, Arlington, VA 22201. The morning’s keynote speaker is Newbery Award-winning author Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, whose latest book is “Now I’ll Tell You Everything.” Author panels and breakout sessions will follow and the festival finishes up with another keynote speaker, Marie Lu, author of “Champion,” the latest installment in her best-selling Legend series. At 4 pm, the festival moves to Arlington Central Library (1015 N. Quincy St, Arlington, VA 22201) for a book-signing with all event authors. One More Page Books will be on-site offering the participating authors’ books for sale and signature.

Other authors participating in the festival include: Aimee Agresti (“Infatuate)”, Hannah Barnaby (“Wonder Show”), Jenna Black (“Resistance”), Erica Cameron (“Sing Sweet Nightingale”), Elle Cosimano (“Nearly Gone”), Lamar Giles (“Fake ID”); Claudia Gray (“Spellcaster”), Sarah Guillory (“Reclaimed”), Meg Medina (“Yaqui Delgado Wants to Kick Your Ass”), Elisa Nader (“Escape from Eden”), Lea Nolan (“Allure”), Ellen Oh (“Warrior”), Diana Peterfreund (“Across a Star-Swept Sea”), Jennifer Rush (“Erased”), Victoria Schwab (“The Unbound”), Elizabeth Scott (“Heartbeat”), Kristen Simmons (“Three”), John Skovron (“Mad Made Boy”), Meagan Spooner (“These Broken Stars”), Jessica Spotswood (“Star Cursed”), Cristin Terrill (“All Our Yesterdays”), and Amy Brecount White (“Forget-Her-Nots”). All of the authors will visit area high schools the day before the festival.
