Saving the Best for Last - A Drabble

A husband and wife were sitting under the tree opening Christmas presents. They were having a good time. He worked hard. He was barely home but he brought home a lot of money so they could live comfortably. He gave her jewelry, designer clothes, new tech gadgets. Everything she wanted. When they were done they sat on the couch, content. Then she said "Oh! I forgot one more for you" and upstairs she went. She came down and handed her husband a box. He opened it and a deadly snake struck him several times. "Merry Christmas wife beater", she said.
