It is about Pookie, the Pooch. He is poor and has almost nothing, but he believes in Santa. He sees Santa in a store window and thinks of all the things Santa will surely bring him for Christmas.
He goes to tell his friends, and they laugh at him. They say Santa is not real, and they do not even let him have the stew they are eating, knowing Pookie is hungy.
So Pookie goes on an adventure to find Santa Claus.
I do not want to spoil the book. It is only 62 pages. It was really good and gave me a jolt of Christmas Spirit that I needed.
I would recommend this for children. And adults too.
