I have to admit that I was very frustrated that my laptop was acting up today. I could not get to my book news, I could not write, I could not blog. But on the long drive my husband and I had to make, as I said earlier, I am glad I brought a paperback with me.
Just an hour and a half ago, my laptop froze up completely. It probably needs to be cleaned. But again, I gained some very valuable reading time. Time I have missed since I have been so busy putting out my blog.
I love doing this blog. You all know that. But sometimes I long for the days when all I did was read, and enter contests on goodreads, message people there, and write reviews. Those were the good old days.
But with the addition of my blog, these are the good new days.
So I will have a review for you in the morning on my ARC book. I am choosing not to do it tonight because I lost so much time. And I am only one person. And I had a long day-I am very tired. We all just remember what I went through with my MS and if I do not rest, it will happen again, and there will be no blog for a few days all over again.
So I will be here for you as long as you come back here to visit me.
And remember, and I cannot stress it enough, and you will see why when you see my book review, that everything really does happen for a reason. And everything that happens in life is a lesson.
My laptop is running slow now. I am taking that to mean that it needs to be shut down for a good few hours. It runs all day long. And it needs to be cleaned too I am sure. So I will take these steps to ensure that I can continue to blog and that I can make my life as stress free as possible.
Think, especially now around the Holidays, what steps you can take to make the whole Holiday Season as stress free as possible. It can be done. Do not be afraid to ask for help. And remember to take care of yourself. And of course, relax and enjoy a book.
