Must-See Book trailers: 'Dead Awakenings,' 'Being Mrs. Dracula'

(from usatoday.com

Friends,

As I write this, I am watching the snow fall for the millionth time this year — or at least it feels like that. So with schools closed (again), I'm in search of a sexy romance novel set in a far-off, tropical locale. Help!

Everything about the video for Rebekah R. Ganiere's Dead Awakenings appeals to me. The amazing plot is expertly teased out through the script, the images are compelling and enticing and the soundtrack amps up the tension to a fine point at exactly the right time. And the hot sexy dude in the hoodie — thank you.

The trailer for Being Mrs. Dracula by Faith Marlow is really creepy — in a good way. The black, white and red color scheme, the images in groups of three, the excellent use of the gorgeous cover and the dark intense soundtrack all combine for an enticing video. And the subject — hearing from the three wives of Dracula — is unique.

I think what I like about the trailer for Spring of Seduction by D.W. Adler is the simplicity that lets the story shine through. No overexuberant graphics, the image of the distant lighthouse coming closer lures the viewer in, while the soundtrack encourages you to progress just a little bit faster. Well done.

*Blogger's note: I realize that the person who wrote this piece spoke of "Spring of Seduction" then put the trailer for "Alpha Mine". I think this was an error. I tried to find a trailer for "Spring of Seduction" but had no luck. I will see if there is a correction made to this article.
