Minnesota: home to the fantastic Magers and Quinn bookstore, as well as one of the greatest bands (in my humble opinion) ever, Hüsker Dü. Along with a home state, the bookstore and a member of the band also share a common interest in the works of William S. Burroughs. And to celebrate the centennial birthday of the Naked Lunch author, Grant Heart, Hüsker Dü’s drummer and co-founder, has loaned his collection of rare Burroughs books and artwork to the store. So for the next few weeks, there’s a pop-up Burroughs museum in the middle of one of our favorite bookstores.
