Warsan Shire recites her poem Girls, written exclusively for the Guardian's campaign to end female genital mutilation (FGM). Shire, 25, is London's first Young Poet Laureate and works with Spoke, which aims to promote poetry in east London. She was born in Kenya and raised in London, where she still lives
