Martha Stewart crafts a foliage inspired paper wreath using pages from old books.
I have to say this is one of my favorite fun Holiday things to do with a book so far. And although she is showing an Autumn wreath, of course use your imagination. You will want a different color ribbon, you will want maybe holly berries instead of acorns (you will know what I am talking about soon). I really hope to make this and I have the perfect book. I think you should of course never cut up a new book, even if you are rich! But the yellowing of the pages gives is such a classic, old world feel.

Paper Wreath Craft
Don't worry this is not what the wreath looks like. It was just the closest I found after looking a many, many images of wreaths. The idea is to have bundles of leaves. In Martha's she mixed the book paper leaves with some colored leaves because we are working off a template to be cut out. So it is bunches of leaves wrapped around a wire and then the bow is missing here of course. :)
