School is almost out for summer, but that doesn't mean it's time to stop reading.
This week is the 95th annual Children's Book Week, a nationwide event that connects young readers with authors and illustrators.
Events are being held in all 50 states for the first time this year, at schools, libraries, bookstores and more. The week is dedicated to helping cultivate a lifelong love of reading for kids.
It's presented by the Children's Book Council and Every Child a Reader.
