Who needs retirement when you can hang out with Stephen Colbert?

Philip Roth has declared his retirement from writing and even giving interviews, but that's not stopping him from visiting The Colbert Report, the Associated Press reports. Roth will appear sometime in July for Colbert's book club, and the host will devote the entire episode to the author.

Known for such works as Portnoy's Complaint and the Pulitzer Prize-winning American Pastoral, Roth published his (supposedly) last book, Nemesis, in 2010.

Roth's appearance may be the last time we see Colbert's book club on TV. The Colbert Report will shut down at the end of this year when the comedian takes over The Late Show on CBS.
