Divergent author Veronica Roth is heading to the inaugural BookCon.
Roth will participate in two panels, discussing her upcoming book Four: A Divergent Collection, and moderating a panel on dystopian science fiction.
All three of the books in the author's young adult sci-fi trilogy have landed on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list, with Divergent hitting No. 1 and staying on the list for 113 weeks. A movie adaptation of the book, starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet, hit theaters in March, and adaptations of the sequels are in the works.
BookCon is a new addition to this year's BookExpo. The event, billed as where "storytelling and pop culture collide," will be held in New York in May with Roth appearing on May 31.
