Hard Feelings - A Drabble

She called me mean. Me? I am not a braggart but everyone I have met has liked me. I am the kind of person that people meet and spill their guts to. When I have to be honest it is not brutal. Feelings are considered. I always point out the good part of a situation. People tell my mother and husband I am such a nice person, and caring, even with all of my illnesses. Mean? It hurt a lot. But then I found that I was only a small cog in the wheel that made her tick that day.
