Kendall: When I began this journey a year and a half ago, I was an indie author on a budget. The first two books I self-published, Unravel Me and Make Me Yours, kicked off this fantastic journey for me. The stories are erotic romance and I wanted a sexy look for the book covers that matched the tone of the tales. The cover designer was, um ... me. :)
These books have since gone on to sell nearly 100,000 copies, and while their original covers will stay in my heart, I felt it was time to provide these babies with a refreshed look. There's just something so shiny and new about pretty book covers. Don't you think?
I asked my cover designer, Helen from All Booked Out, who designed my latest covers in the When I Break series, to help me refresh the look of Unravel Me and Make Me Yours. I absolutely love what she came up with. We kept the original image I selected for Unravel Me, one, because I already owned it, and two, because I still quite liked it! But we chose a new look for Make Me Yours. I love how Liz is whispering in Cohen's ear, tempting him … And since it's a story about a male virgin, I thought it worked perfectly.
