A-Z Challenge - B

I posted yesterday about my A-Z Challenge, inspired by a tour company blog. As I explained and will briefly again my original A-Z Challenge (which I have not given up on) was about reading books and I had a list of one's starting with every letter of the alphabet.

This challenge is using letters A-Z to make my A-Z challenge about blogging and just having some fun and putting up some great posts about blogging and reading also but with more focus on blogging.

Yesterday I Asked someone how they got started on their blog. I have not heard back yet but it has not even been 24 hours. If she does not answer I will try someone else.

So my B for today is Book Tour. I am going to sign up for one now that I have some breathing room. And it is going to be one I would not normally pick. I understand I have to take this seriously because it is a tour and people are depending on me but I want to challenge myself. So the tour I picked (and hopefully they will pick me) is Blackness Takes Over by Norma Jeanne Karlsson. Not normally a book I would pick. Just does not sound appealing but there are two things. This is my challenge and honestly if I can help others along the way by something I do that would make me very happy. And this was about the second or third call for people to do this tour which is fast approaching. So I know I am helping out the tour group.  Here is a synopsis of the book:

Shannon Kelly’s life has been anything but typical.

Her life has been altered viciously at the hands of others twice.

However horrible they have been, it’s these changes that have given her a family and career…now possibly love.

The last thirteen years she has been supported and loved by her protector, her entertainer, and her comforter, but never a lover.

When Dylan Kellerman enters Shannon’s life he changes its course in more ways than one.

He gives her hope and promise of a future she was convinced wasn’t attainable.

Just as she begins to believe she has finally turned her life into something she can build a future on…blackness takes over.

So that is my B challenge. Wish me luck! I have read some great tour books and some horrendous ones. You never know. Sometimes even with  your favorite author you do not know if they still have it when their new book comes out.
